Why Attend?

Tuition, fees, books, supplies, housing, food….it all adds up, but financial aid is available for those who qualify. To apply for state aid (TOPS, Go Grant) and federal aid (Pell Grant, Federal Work-Study, loans) you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial aid professionals will be on hand during the College Goal Sunday event to guide you (and your parents) through this application process. Computer labs will be open so that your electronic FAFSA can be completed and submitted on site.

With more than $60 billion available in federal aid (according to the U.S. Department of Education), financial aid can make college a reality by helping to cover college expenses.

A college degree can mean the difference between just getting a job and building a career.

This is a free event, so register now to attend at one of 14 convenient sites statewide.

College Goal SundaySM is for all Louisiana high school seniors, their families and also adults who need financial aid assistance for post-secondary education.

A college education - it's your ticket to the future.
