M. J. FOSTER PROMISE PROGRAM
Application and Certification Form
The M.J. Foster Promise (Foster Promise) is a financial aid program administered by the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (LOSFA), a program of the Board of Regents. Foster Promise provides financial support for students to earn credentials that align with high-demand jobs in growing industry sectors, such as construction, healthcare, information technology, manufacturing, and transportation and logistics. Eligible credentials will be earned through short-term workforce training as well as more traditional academic degree programs no longer than 60 credit hours (an associate degree).
M.J. Foster Promise funding for Spring 2024 will be prioritized. Priority funding is currently reserved for M.J. Foster Promise recipients who have already received the award, who are eligible to continue, and who are progressing through to the spring in the same qualified program of study (CIP code). If funding should become available after you are determined to be eligible, you will be notified through your Student Hub account.
