To assure that your Scholarship and Grant Policy and Procedure Manual remains current, please record this document on your TOPS Bulletin index and retain it with your manual.
Louisiana Colleges, Universities and Technical Colleges who participate in TOPS are reminded that they should not bill this agency for students who are placed on academic probation. Instead, you should notify LOSFA of which TOPS recipients are now in that category. Attached is an electronic file format to use in forwarding the information. Schools which do not have the capability to transmit the attached file may fax a report containing the same data described in the file format.
Colleges and Universities are also reminded that you should not bill for 1997 high school graduates for the spring term if they have not been enrolled in the fall term unless they have received a deferment letter from LOSFA to allow them to qualify for TOPS.
