Late Disbursement Checklists for Lenders and for Schools

To assure that your Common Manual remains current, please record this document on your LPM/LPB Index, and retain it in Appendix E of your manual.

 LOSFA receives many calls from schools and lenders for assistance and guidance in making late disbursements of loan proceeds. The National Council of Higher Education Loan Programs (NCHELP) Regulations Committee saw this as an area where helpful guidance would be appreciated. They have worked for over a year to perfect a School Version and a Lender Version of a Late Disbursement Checklist. We are happy to make these documents available for you in order to make the late disbursement process a bit less burdensome for you. The attached School Version and Lender Version of the Late Disbursement Checklist are provided for you to copy and use as needed.
